— What we believe
What we believe
In His Name Ministries exists to do everything in the name of Jesus Christ (Colossians 3:17). These are the beliefs that guide our ministry, the IHNM Show and everything we do.
- The Bible
- The Bible is the inspired, trustworthy Word of God, and our final authority for faith and life. 2 Timothy 3:16–17
- God
- There is one God, eternally existing as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:19
- Jesus Christ
- Jesus is the Son of God, fully God and fully man. He was born of a virgin, lived without sin, died on the cross for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, and ascended to the Father. John 1:1–14; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4
- Salvation
- Salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone, not earned by our works. Ephesians 2:8–9
- The Holy Spirit
- The Holy Spirit lives in every believer, giving power to live for God, gifts to serve others, and guidance into truth. Acts 1:8; John 16:13
- The Church
- The Church is the body of Christ, made up of all believers, called to worship, grow together, and share the gospel. Ephesians 4:11–16
- Prayer and worship
- We pray and worship in the name of Jesus, the only name by which we are saved. John 14:13–14; Acts 4:12
- Christ’s return
- Jesus will return, and God will make all things new. Revelation 21:1–5
How we talk about history and current events
We look at history and today’s headlines through the lens of Scripture. Guests may hold a range of views on secondary matters. When they speak on our show, the conversation always comes back to the Word of God.
